Outfit of the Day - to the movies :)

I went to watch a movie today :) Guess which from the photo below!

Yes! The Croods. A delightful movie with a heart. It had its share of laughs but also had a wonderful storyline which keeps you captivated throughout. And the 3D effects were lovely - some of the scenes looked marvellous in 3D.

I have a special love for animated movies and I am adding this movie to my must-see animated movie list :) If you have not seen this movie yet, I suggest you do catch it. It will definitely be worth it - not just for the kids but for the adults as well!

Below is me looking horrendous with the 3D glasses on :D

While watching a movie, I want to be comfortable. So given the ultra-hot weather in Mumbai currently, I chose tights and a tunic with a sleeveless jacket for when it gets cold in the theatre.

So do you like my OOTD? And have you watched the Croods?

Outfit of the Day - Pretty in pink

Which girl does not like pink? I am no different. :) But more than the pale, baby pink, I like bright pinks! Just like my dress below.

This kurta churidar were designed by my sis-in-law who is a fashion designer. I loved it the minute I saw it! The beautiful embroidery at the neck and detailing in the churidar, both of which provide colour to this pink outfit, sold me to it :)

I accessorized with traditional jhumkis in blue, some bangles and a bindi. I love bindis but rarely wear them. But when I have a perfect outfit such as this, the bindi has to add to the traditional factor!

So do you like my pink outfit?

I'm back!

Hello everyone,

I know I have disappeared over the past week with no new posts, no replies to comments, and no visits to blogs. I am so sorry. I have pretty sick the whole week, battling a viral infection which resulted in fever, cold and cough. I am much better now, though I still have a horrible cough.

While I am not yet up to outfit posts, I will begin replying to comments and visit blogs from today :) After all, that is also a lot of fun and I am looking forward to it :)

Hope you all are doing well! I am desperately waiting to get back into full blogging mode from next week.

Have a great weekend!

Omved All Skin types Ubtan - Review

I love trying natural stuff to enhance beauty rather than creams. The only cream I use consistenly is a body lotion and that's cause I spend 12-13 hours in an air conditioned office which sucks the moisture from my skin.

So I came across Omved Ubtan (sort of a cleanser) on another blog and decided to give it a try. And I am so glad I did! Read on to find out why.

Price: INR120 for 50gm (bought it from the Omved store. Also available online)

Ingredients: green lentil (moong) 24%, black lentil (udad) 24%, red sandalwood 24%, white sandalwood 24%, turmeric root 4%

The King is here!

I mean, the king of fruits, of course ........ THE MANGO!

Yum, yum, yum! After 8 months of waiting, the king has finally arrived - and thankfully the prices this year are down due to lower exports and so we can enjoy mangoes earlier.

Outfit of the Day - Statement

Having Friday as casual day in office is so nice. It puts me in the weekend mood from Friday morning itself :)

So just another casual outfit. I chose my favorite black tee-shirt (this is my comfort tee-shirt - no matter what mood I am in, I can wear this one and always feel comfortable and happy) and blue jeans. I added a statement necklace and a bright red purse so that outfit would not be boring!

I would love to know your thoughts on the outfit :)

Outfit of the Day - Black!

As mentioned in the Liebster award post, black is one of my favorite colours. Other favorite colours keep changing - like currently yellow is my favorite, before that it was blue. But black always remains. It not only suits all skin tones and looks striking, it is good at hiding bulges, making you look slimmer, and overall, more elegant.

Do you all agree?

So below is my black outfit that I wore to office today. It is simple (which is generally my style) and I jazzed it up a bit with the necklace and shoes. Let me know if you like it!

Outfit of the Day - minimum stripes

Just another simple outfit I wore for mall trolling. It is a very comfortable dress and I just added a necklace for effect.

I would love to know whether you like this outfit. Also, I would welcome ideas that you have on styling this dress. In fact, I would love it! :)
